Happy New Year!
This Sunday we have decided to celebrate the feast of the Epiphany along with the rest of the English-speaking world. The Mass will be at 11:00 AM as usual. Since it is the first Sunday of the month, it will be unofficial children’s Mass. That means the clapping Gloria and the special Alleluia.
January 6 is a holiday in Spain, but we will NOT have a Mass in English. There will be 3 Masses in Spanish. If you would like to celebrate the Eucharist on Monday, there are many options available at your local Spanish church.
There will be fellowship after the Mass. All the rest of the activities begin anew the following Sunday.
A big GRACIAS to all our volunteers who make OLM a thriving parish. We couldn’t do ot without you!
God bless you, Fr. Ron
A Wish for the New Year
Dear Lord, please give me…
A few friends who understand me and remain my friends;
A work to do which has real value, without which the world would be the poorer;
A mind unafraid to travel, even though the trail be not blazed;
An understanding heart;
A sense of humor;
Time for quiet, silent meditation;
A feeling of the presence of God;
The patience to wait for the coming of these things,
With the wisdom to recognize them when they come.

May your year be filled with peace, prosperity and love. May God’s blessings shower upon you and bestow upon each of you a bright, healthy and peaceful new year.
