Hello,
How are you doing? This Sunday will be a special one because Deacon Michael will celebrate his First Mass as a priest! He will be ordained on Saturday. The preacher was serving in Australia, so he may have an Australian accent.  After the Mass, you are invited to share some refreshments in the fellowship hall  (there will be snacks, cake, and many things to enjoy). Do ask him for a “First Blessing” – they are very powerful.
Please do wear your masks in the fellowship room. And if it gets too crowded, feel free to spread out to the adjacent classrooms and hall ways. Keep your social distancing, OK? No one seems to understands this virus, and it is not even a teenager yet!
Also, the Cardinal has informed us that the Sunday Mass obligation for all Catholics living in Madrid is reinstated. He does make an exception for those who are in “grave circumstances”, so I leave it up to your conscience. If you want to read the proclamation in Spanish, see:
We will continue with the streaming. And please, if you really wish to donate to the church, just follow the instructions on the web page.
Ourladyofmercy.info  (This email usually breaks up the link so that it can’t be scooped up by web scrubbers). You may have to type it in your browser.
And if you have clothes to donate, just bring them any time and place them in the Cáritas container that is found by the parish office entrance. It is an amazing amount of clothes that has been coming in!
Remember, I sent you the Sunday worship aids for the entire month last week.
May God bless you during this stressful time!

Posion
A man goes to see the Rabbi. “Rabbi, something terrible is happening and I have to talk to you about it.”

The Rabbi asked, “What’s wrong?”

The man replied, “My wife is poisoning me.”

The Rabbi, very surprised by this, asks, “I’m sure you’re wrong.”

The man pleads, “I’m telling you, I’m certain she’s poisoning me. What should I do?”

The Rabbi then offers, “Tell you what, let me talk to her. I’ll see what I can find out and I’ll let you know.”

A week later the Rabbi calls the man and says, “Well, I spoke to your wife. I spoke to her on the phone for three hours. You want my advice?”

The man anxiously says, “Yes, please.”

“OK. Take the poison,” says the Rabbi.
